Christopher Reynolds serves as the Vice President of Core Technology at Form Energy. In this role, he leads a team focused on the advancement of the iron-air battery technology, overseeing areas such as cell design, system layout, process selection and initial scale-up, and the selection and development of new products. Christopher joined Form Energy in 2020, initially focusing on cathode development and technical M&A activities. Over time, his role expanded to encompass leadership in developing Form’s cell chemistry, layout, process selection, and the initial scale-up of its breakthrough battery technology.
Prior to his tenure at Form Energy, Christopher was the Head of Technology and Operations at AFC Energy in the UK. There, he led the technical team in developing hydrogen fuel cells aimed at replacing diesel generators, advancing AEM fuel cell technology, and steering a joint development agreement with DeNora. Notably, he played a crucial role in developing fuel cell systems for Extreme-E racing that were deployed worldwide.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Queen Mary, University of London.
