Beth Codner

Chief People Officer

Beth Codner is the Chief People Officer at Form Energy. With more than 25 years of progressive, global human resources leadership experience in high growth organizations, Beth is focused on driving the vision for Form Energy’s people strategy, as well as leading all people operations functions.

In this capacity, Beth engages with leaders on workforce planning and talent management for Form Energy and ensures all employees have the ability to reach their potential through learning and development opportunities. She champions performance with total rewards that celebrate success while keeping the company’s work experience running smoothly with outstanding people operations and technology. She also collaborates cross functionally to solve issues and build partnerships at every level of the organization, knitting Form’s diverse workforce into a unified, dynamic, cultural whole. Beth is a committed and active advocate of justice, diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging and works to ensure employees feel heard and valued in partnership with Form Energy’s leadership team.

Beth serves as a member of the Talent Steering Committee for the Allegheny Conference on Community Development. She is a member of the Chief Human Resources Officer Council for The Advanced Leadership Institute (TALI), a Pittsburgh non-profit committed to driving meaningful representation of Black executives and professionals in corporate and community leadership roles. Beth also serves as an Executive Mentor for TALI’s Executive Leadership Academy and previously served as a mentor to female CEOs of start-up organizations within the IncubateHER program.

Beth holds a Master of Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an undergraduate degree from Penn State University in human development and business.
