Preparing for Significant Growth in Advance of Commercializing First Energy Storage Product
Boston, MA – August 5, 2021 – Form Energy, Inc. announced today the addition of three new leadership team members to support the company’s growth and strategic vision of rising to the challenge of climate change by developing and commercializing a new class of cost-effective, multi-day energy storage systems.
RJ Johnson has joined Form Energy as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations and has extensive renewable energy and storage experience in utility, commercial, and residential markets. Prior to joining Form Energy, RJ led energy operations at Tesla Energy. In addition, RJ led service for Tesla’s global Supercharger network. Before working at Tesla, RJ held various senior management positions at NextEra Energy Resources, including Vice President of Origination. In addition, RJ co-founded NextEra’s energy storage business and was the commercial lead for over $3B of wind, solar and storage projects.
Brian Lewis is the Deputy General Counsel at Form Energy, where he leads the company’s in-house legal department. Brian is a proven leader, litigator, trial attorney, counselor, and problem solver with significant experience as a social media lawyer, federal prosecutor, and private practice litigator. Prior to joining Form Energy, Brian was a Director & Associate General Counsel at Facebook. Brian previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Northern District of California, and as Senior Litigation Counsel at the U.S. Attorney’s Office where he departed the office as the Deputy Chief of the Oakland Branch Office.
Dr. Judith Williams joined Form Energy as Vice President of People in July 2021 and is focused on building the human resources function, developing the enterprise-wide human capital strategy, and scaling Form Energy’s unique and innovative culture. Williams is an internationally recognized human resources leader. As a metrics-driven diversity strategist, she is known for focusing on cross functional outcomes across the organizations she leads and advises. Having served in leadership positions at companies including SAP, SE and Dropbox, and with more than twenty years of global human resources and cross-cultural diversity experience, Judith brings to Form Energy deep expertise in building and developing diverse talent pipelines, creating inclusive cultures, and building leadership accountability for all talent outcomes.
